Rob Quartel, Chairman
Rob serves as Executive Chairman of the Board at NTELX, Inc., having served as its CEO for many years. Rob is a former member of the US Federal Maritime Commission and an internationally recognized expert in maritime and US transportation policy; his experience spans energy, transportation, safety and environmental regulation, and other public policy issues. Rob is a prolific writer and speaker, frequently cited in the media and called upon for expert testimony. He has been a senior policy advisor to numerous public figures and to Congress. He received his undergraduate degree in biology at Rice University and his Master’s in public and private management from Yale University’s School of Organization and Management. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and other public policy and security advisory bodies. |
Larry Kahn, President
Larry was associated with NTELX, Inc. prior to the creation of NTELX International during 2014. He has been involved in project work for Thayer Lodging, a hotel investment company, has worked with the Carlyle Group, a private equity company, and was a founder and chief financial officer of Vacation.com, which was acquired by Amadeus, Europe’s largest travel technology company. Before that he was the vice president at Northwest Airlines responsible for aircraft purchasing and fleet planning, a vice president of Lodging at Marriott, and he began his business career at PepsiCo. He received his undergraduate degree from Yale University and has a Master’s degree from MIT’s Sloan School of Management. Dhiren Patel, Board Member
Dhiren currently is a board member of NTELX, Inc., having served as its president for many years. He has more than twenty years of transportation, logistics, and technology experience. Prior to NTELX, he worked as a consultant with McKinsey & Company and was a co-founder of Global Inroads, Inc., an international logistics firm based in the US and Russia. He received his undergraduate degree in economics from Princeton University and an MBA in Finance from the University of Chicago. |
